How Much Does Eyebrow Threading Cost

MONEY 'weighed' MORE 'WATER!

A letter from Father Alex Zanotelli, which proposes guidelines for the revival of the Battle Public Water Well.
E 'was a shock for me to hear that the Senate, November 4 last year, has sanctioned the privatization of water. The vote in the Senate is the conclusion of a parliamentary process that has lasted two years. In fact, the Berlusconi government, with Article 23 bis of Law 133/2008, had failed to regulate the management of integrated water services, which provided, in the ordinary way, the transfer of management of public services to local entrepreneurs or companies, through the referral competed by December 31, 2010. That law was approved Aug. 6, 2008, while Italy was on vacation. A year later, precisely September 9, 2009, the Council of Ministers approved a decree (the Agreement Lease-Calderoli), Article 15, amending Article 23a moves even more decisive steps towards privatization of water services provision: The expectations of the management of water services in favor of employers or companies, including joint venture (public-private), with private capital of not less than 40% Termination of credit 'in house' company totally public, controlled by the municipalities on 31 December 2011. This decree is passed in the Senate to be signed into law. The PD, which has always been quite favorable to the privatization of water, brought in the person of Senator Bubbico, an amendment-compromise: the water could be managed by individuals, but the property would remain public. This proposal, made only to save face, passes with a bipartisan vote! But the majority voted for the privatization of water. The opposition (PD and IDV), voted against the decree-law. And so the Senate vote for the privatization of water, the supreme good today along with the air! And 'the surrender of political power to economic-financial potentates. Politics is over! E 'the triumph of the market, profit. It 's the end of democracy. "If the Chamber of Deputies, said this forum does not overturns-water movements of the crime of the Senate, will be celebrated on the de-legitimization of institutions." That's why we strongly denounce: the Berlusconi government that, with this rating Senate hours privatization all the faucets in Italy. "This order marks a crucial step in the civic culture of our country and its constitution-writing Molinari Lembo and the World Water Contract. Municipalities and regions are expropriated from their functions with a real attack on democracy. "Opposition party, the Democratic Party, which continues to waver on the privatization of water (we know that the new secretary Bersani has always been in favor of privatization) . And finally, all the opposition for not having taken such a serious problem to public attention. For this reason, we call on all parties to withdraw the decree because the water is off or by decree. That should do it now is that the decree passed in the debate in the House of Deputies. There is talk that the decree could be voted on Nov. 16. And the opposition parties demand that officially declare their position through their national secretary and the party giving the mandate to mobilize all over the country. And we ask also the opposition parties to bring in court the law of popular initiative that was awarded in 2007 400.000 signatures and now sleeps in the Environment Committee of the Chamber. We call on the regions: to challenge the constitutionality of Article 15 of Decree-Lease Calderoli, pass laws on regional governance of water service. We ask the municipalities of: Indira Tips Single-issue municipal water and declare the water is not good economic importance, make the right choice for special Public Company management of its water. This option, according to many lawyers and jurists, it is also possible with the current legislation. It is virtually back to the old municipal. We ask the unions: a decision on the privatization of water through their secretaries national rally and mobilize citizens against the commodification of water.
